A Christ-Centered Youth Group for Teens on and Around Mount Desert Island
Impact Youth at The River is committed to helping 6th to 12th graders become fully devoted followers of Christ. Our mission is to raise strong warriors for Jesus Christ, to remind them that they are not defined by this world, but by their Creator! Impact Youth provides an atmosphere of connection with God and each other.
Learning
Impact Youth meets twice a week during Sunday morning service and Wednesday night Youth Group. Each lesson is packed with relevant lessons that meet teens right where they are at!
Outside of our regular services, Impact Youth meets regularly for more casual connection - whether it’s hanging out at the beach or helping with a school project, Impact Youth aims to create genuine, Christ-Centered friendships.
Growing
Impact Youth challenges teenagers to grow deeper in our walk with God and our relationships. Through monthly activities such as mini golfing, bowling, hiking, and all-nighters, we learn what it means to grow in a Christ-centered community.
Impact Youth also attends camps and conferences such as REVIVE Youth Conference and Whited Bible Camp to meet and grow with other area churches and Christians!
Reaching
Impact Youth goes beyond the walls of the church to impact those on Mount Desert Island and the surrounding communities!
Through annual fundraisers such as bottle drives and car washes, we raise funds for missions and helping our teens attend conferences and camps.
