The River is a family of believers centered on our love for Jesus Christ. Whether you've been a part of the family for some time or want to plan a visit, we welcome you and encourage you to connect with one of our weekly groups for men, women, and the whole family!
The River Women
The River is devoted to discipling, equipping, and empowering women to walk in their kingdom purpose and develop meaningful relationships with other sisters in Christ. It is our mission to lead women, from both our church family and our community, into a deeper walk with their Savior.
Whether it’s through our midweek Bible studies, Women’s coffee and devotional hour, paint and pray events, or other women’s events and retreats - there is a place for you to connect with other Kingdom-minded women in and around Mount Desert Island!
The River Men

The River Men meet weekly throughout the year for a men’s breakfast and Bible study. Other events include quarterly Bible studies and group outings to foster genuine connection with our brothers around us.
