Senior Pastors
Jody and Nancy Patterson
Jody Patterson is the Senior Pastor of The River. Together, he and his wife, Nancy, planted their first church in the Fall of 2014 and are committed to spreading the message of love and redemption throughout Mount Desert Island and the surrounding communities, along with a message that we are made to love, beyond the walls of the church.
In their spare time they also own and operate a general contracting company located right here in Bar Harbor, and also enjoy traveling and hiking in beautiful Acadia National Park with their two Jack Russells, Petey and Acadia.
Associate Pastor
Daniel Hisey is the Associate Pastor of The River. He is passionate about instilling a strong biblical knowledge in the church body and handles our Growth Track Discipleship Program as well as our Young Adults Ministry alongside his wife, Nicole. He also oversees our Worship Ministry. Daniel’s heart for the Church is to cultivate an authentic pursuit of God’s presence in worship.
Daniel holds a Master’s of Divinity in Theology and is currently pursuing a Master’s of Theology in Biblical Studies. Outside of school, He enjoys baking, spending time outdoors with Nicole fishing, hiking and kayaking.
Youth Pastors
Josh and Keisha Bradley have a heart for teenagers because they are the future generation of the church, and they believe teens will be an instrument in revival breaking out here in Maine.
Josh, originally from Quispamsis, NB Canada, attended Faith Bible College receiving his Associate's Degree in Biblical Theology.
Keisha, originally from Corinth, Maine, also attended Faith Bible College prior to starting a family, and is currently attending Kineo MTC for a Biblical Arts Degree.
Together they have four amazing children, Boaz, Roya, Adaya, and Dahlia along with two dogs, Oreo and Chip!
